Health of your puppy
Our puppies are vaccinated and de-wormed to protocol. Before puppies are released each one will receive a health check from our local veterinarian. All parents have been DNA health screened. Our male has been OFA tested.

About the breeder
Welcome to Harkey Farm Retrievers located in Patrick Springs, VA. Harkey Farm was established in 1994. I'm Lisa my husband is Nathan. We have 3 kids Dylan, Ethan, Zoey and a daughter-in-law Bekah. We started out raising Hereford cattle. Several years after we were married we got our first AKC golden retriever from my niece. We fell in love with the breed immediately.
I raised two amazing sons then God laid it on our hearts to open our lives and serve in foster care. He brought us a little girl only 4 days old. We got to adopt her three years later. Starting Harkey Farm Retrievers allowed me to leave the office job and spend valuable time with Zoey.
Our retrievers are raised in the country on the farm by our family for your family. We are very hands on from day one. Our dogs serve as companions and bring us happiness. We spend a lot of time finding their perfect forever families. We want to build a lasting relationship for years to come. A number of our customers have returned for their second retriever. I think that says a lot.

Reacher's is genetic and OFA tested his puppies are very smart his great blocky head really adds to his looks. He is gentle, very sweet, just a big teddy bear. We sure love our Reacher boy.
